Our approach
We want cancellations and refunds to be handled fairly and transparently. Because a seva involves preparing and purchasing real items (for example fodder, food staples or bhojan thalis) and a personal visit, what is possible depends on how far along the arrangement is.
Situations we will define
The final policy will set out how each of these is handled:
- cancellation before any materials have been purchased;
- cancellation after food, fodder or thalis have already been purchased;
- same-day cancellation for a date-specific seva;
- refunds where Roots & Seva itself is unable to perform the agreed service;
- how payment-gateway fees are treated;
- rescheduling to a later date.
If we cannot complete a seva
If we accept a booking and then find we cannot complete the agreed service, we will contact you, explain the options and agree a fair way forward — this may include rearranging the seva or a refund of the appropriate amount.
