On the agreed day, we arrange the agreed number of fresh satvik bhojan thalis and personally take them to an appropriate temple in Indore, where they are respectfully offered to Brahmans. Where requested and agreed in advance, the seva may also include dakshina or another appropriate offering. Before the booking is final, we confirm how many bhojan thalis will be arranged and what is included.
We keep the description honest and avoid guaranteeing specific spiritual outcomes. Practices may vary by family, sampradaya and region.
Why is Brahman Bhojan associated with Pitru remembrance?
In many traditional Shraddha procedures, feeding Brahmins forms part of the observance made in honour of the Pitrs. Dharmashastra and Purana traditions describe food being offered to Brahmins as part of ancestral rites, which is one reason Brahman Bhojan remains strongly associated with annual tithis and Pitru Paksha in many families. Roots & Seva currently arranges the bhojan itself as an act of remembrance.
Feeding Brahmins can be part of a larger Shraddha observance, but the meal by itself is not the complete ceremony. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we are not performing the complete Shraddha ceremony.

Can I arrange Brahman Bhojan in memory of a parent?+
Yes. Many families arrange Brahman Bhojan on an annual tithi in loving memory of a parent or grandparent. You give us the Sankalp name and we reference it in the acknowledgement.
What if I don't know the exact tithi?+
Share the details you know — an English date, an approximate time of year. If a specific tithi needs confirming before scheduling, we'll discuss it with you. We don't treat automatic tithi calculations as authoritative where family practice may differ.
